ImageOn August 18th, Dublin A.M. assisted with the annual Mike Utt River Clean-up. After donning gallons of sunscreen, bug repellent, poison ivy guard, and, of course, the tres chic orange volunteer vests, Rotarians waded through a generally clean but sometimes slippery river, removing many pounds of trash and recyclables.

Club members Mike Close and Julie Rinaldi were grateful to have their backyards picked up. Rotarians saw deer, minnows, herons, clams, ducks, and crayfish in an increasingly healthy river system. Thanks to all who helped and especially to Michael Shuchter for leading the charge.
